How to Get the Muggy Ball in Grand Blue
The Muggy Ball is a craftable Sidearm that requires 1x Gunpowder and 1x Clown Cannon Ball.
Gunpowder: drops from the Buggy BossClown Cannon Balls: drop from Clown Officers (2% drop chance)
Note: both NPCs for the drops reside at Clown Town; you can sail here by Rowboat, which costs 50G from the merchant at the coast near the fishing docks. I suggest levelling up your stats and skills before heading here, as there is a steep difficulty jump between Anchor Port and Clown Town.
Muggy Ball Throw
The Muggy Ball Throw skill does what it says on the tin. Throw a Muggy Ball at a target (following the player’s mouse cursor), which detonates on impact, exploding whoever it hits, dealing damage and inflicting a ragdoll knockback.
Note: When fighting the Clown officers and Buggy Boss, you can experience the receiving end of this skill.

Sidearms are secondary weapons that equip to the secondary weapon slot. Unlike primary weapons, they only include a single skill to use. Like other skills and weapons, both the Sidearm and its skill level up over time in correlation to how often it’s used in combat.
Is Muggy Ball the best Sidearm?
In my opinion, yes, but it ultimately depends on how you prefer to play and what outcome you want from a Sidearm skill.
How do I craft in Grand Blue?
Visit the Blacksmith at Anchor Port and approach the crafting table. Any recipes you’ve learned and unlocked (except cooking recipes) will appear here to be crafted.
Which other Sidearms require crafting?
The Show Stopper is a firearm that needs 1x Scrap Metal, 2x Painted Metal, and a handle to craft. This fires a single round at a target, following the player’s mouse cursor.
All other Sidearms are dropped by mobs, bought, or both, which makes the Muggy Ball and Show Stopper pretty unique.
