The Grand Blue King’s Punch skill is notorious for being difficult to get, not because it’s challenging, but because it requires patience, dedication, and a lot of time. Is it worth unlocking at the cost of getting a repetitive strain injury?

Grand Blue King’s Punch
King’s Punch is a secret ability that all players can wield, as long as you have the patience to unlock it. It’s certainly a grind, and I recommend gradually working towards it rather than trying to complete the set of 5 quests all in one go.
How to Get the King’s Punch Skill
To start, you need to head to Anchor Town, the first location all players visit when they begin their journey in Grand Blue. From here, search for the docking area, lined with stalls of fruit and vegetables. You’ll see a fenced-off section of grass with an NPC called Sushi. The wooden archway features a sculpture of a shield, and there are training dummies, so it’s hard to miss.
The Sushi NPC will have an exclamation point above his head; however, some players have reported that this NPC sometimes has a bug which doesn’t allow you to pick up the quest. Speak with Sushi to pick up the first quest for the King’s Punch skill; there are 5 quests in total.
Sushi Training Quests
Now, each quest requires you to punch a training dummy a certain number of times, gradually increasing as you progress. Unfortunately, any punches you deal towards normal enemies do not count. It has to be the training dummies in Sushi’s training area.
1st Quest
Punch a training dummy 100 times
2nd Quest
Punch a training dummy 1,000 times
3rd Quest
Punch a training dummy 10,000 times
4th Quest
Punch a training dummy 100,000 times
5th Quest
Punch a training dummy 1 million times
As you can see, that’s a ridiculous number of punches, and you’ll surely get RSI just from clicking your mouse that much or tapping your screen if you’re playing on mobile, of course. You can use an auto-clicker, which I’ve seen some players do, but this means you’ll have to go AFK. I’m not sure how long it would take, even with an auto-clicker, to be honest.
Each time you complete a quest, you can move on to the next. Checking your progress on a particular quest is easy: you can speak with the Sushi NPC to see how many punches you’ve done and how many you’ve got left.
What Does the King’s Punch Skill Do?
Now, the big question is: is the King’s Punch secret skill even worth unlocking? It’s a skill that allows you to charge up a powerful punch, and the longer you charge it, the more damage it deals. At its base, it deals 14 DMG and has a Range of 14. The skill’s cooldown lasts for 30 seconds, but can be reduced to 24 with upgrades.

To make the most of the King’s Punch skill, you need to invest in your DMG and Strength. This is because King’s Punch scales off of your current DMG and Strength stats, which you can improve via the skill tree.
I recommend using the Prodigy Trait if you want to level up your skills quickly, as it increases the amount of EXP, Skill EXP, Life Skill EXP and Pet EXP by 15%.
