It’s best to know how to rob the bank in Bridger Western before you attempt it, just in case there are any hiccups along the way. This challenge is only available for Outlaw players in Bridger Western, but Inlaws can get involved, too.

How to Rob the Bank in Bridger Western
Before I start, it’s important to note that bank robberies can only be done by Outlaw players. It’s not an option for Inlaws. The bank you’re robbing is none other than that of the Ridge B. County Bank.
After a successful bank robbery, you can’t do another for 20 minutes.
Meet the Arms Dealer
To begin your heist, you first need to make your way to the Outlaw Hideout, which you should already be familiar with. From here, you can find a building with no decorations, housing a sole NPC called the Arms Dealer.
He wears a suit and a bowler hat, and upon speaking to him, he says:
“Oh, what do we have here?”
You reply with,
“I need something to make a real robbery happen”
He hands you the explosives you’re going to use during the robbery, costing you 1K Moola.
I recommend using your horse to get to and from each location, as this makes your getaway much quicker after the robbery. Once you have the explosives, it’s time to visit the town of Ridge B. County.
How to Open the Vault
Find the bank and head inside. You’ll have to explore a little to find the room with the vault. You’re looking for the door with a bright painting to the right of it. Open the door to find the metal vault and drop the explosives. Run away as fast as you can so as not to get caught in the explosion.
Once they explode, the bank’s security measures activate. As soon as it’s safe to do so, head back to the room with the vault to find that it’s been blasted open. Click all of the cash on the shelves to add it to your bag.
Beware the Inlaws
It sounds easy, but after breaking open the vault, a Bounty is placed on your head. All Inlaw players are alerted, and of course, they’re going to want to reap the rewards for catching you.
After escaping the bank, make your way back to the Outlaw Hideout to speak with the Arms Dealer. Handing over the stolen loot rewards you with Moola, and there’s even a chance of getting a Stand Arrow, though the drop rate is low.
Frequently Asked Questions
What Happens If I Fail the Bank Robbery?
The only way to fail the bank robbery is by being defeated by Inlaw players. You’ll have to purchase the explosives from the Arms Dealer NPC at the Outlaw Hideout again if you want to give it another attempt. Many players recommend playing on a private server or one that has hardly any players to make this easier.
Do I Need to Rob the Bank?
No, it’s an optional bit of content. The main purpose of it is to obtain extra Moola from the Arms Dealer, as well as having a chance of getting a Stand Arrow, though the latter is not guaranteed. It’s a fun challenge to do with friends, though it’s entirely possible to complete the robbery while playing solo.
