Money really does make the world go round in Slime RNG. Some of the game’s main mechanics rely on coins, including purchasing upgrades and unlocking new areas.

Without coins, you can’t progress. While you earn coins by defeating slimes, you also get offline loot when you log back into the game, all of which can be improved as you unlock new upgrades.

Upgrades

Within the Loot tab on the Upgrade screen, you can find a variety of upgrades which increase the amount of coins you earn. Ironically, you need coins to purchase these upgrades, so I recommend going AFK often to let the money gather up while you do something else.

Potions

The Loot tab of the Upgrades screen also includes Potions. The one you’re looking for is the Currency Boost Potion. Once unlocked, enemy slimes have a chance to drop Currency Boost Potions, which temporarily increase the number of coins your slimes get when they defeat enemies. Like all enemy loot, they aren’t a guaranteed drop each time.

I don’t recommend spending your real money, but you can also purchase Coin Boost Potions with 25 Robux to double the number of coins you get by 2x for a total of 3 minutes.

Defeating Enemies

The only way to get coins is by defeating enemy slimes, but with upgrades and potions, you can increase the amount of coins you obtain. Some upgrades can increase the number and spawn rate of enemy slimes, which speeds up the process.

Your slimes automatically attack the enemy, so you don’t have to be constantly present in the game. There’s also the offline loot you claim when you log in to the game, but the accumulation of coins has a cap, so it stops after a while.

Completing the Index

When you unlock a certain number of slimes, you earn rewards, including permanent coin boosts. The index is split into different categories, including Big Slimes, Shiny Slimes, and more. Not all milestones grant you coin boosts, however.

Codes

Some codes may reward you with free coins. It all depends on which codes are currently active. The amount of coins you get per code differs, but something is better than nothing.
