Ubisoft has introduced the aforementioned features for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro users. However, PS5 Pro gamers can enjoy the newly integrated PSSR 2 support. This will improve image quality and game performance.

Ubisoft’s Engineering Studio Manager, Priscilla Nguyen, explained, “The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla update presented an excellent opportunity to integrate the upgraded PSSR, delivering a noticeably sharper and more visually refined image quality in 4K and smoothness with 60FPS.”

Additionally, the New Game+ is a major highlight of the update. Players can play this mode after completing the main Assassin’s Creed Valhalla storyline. As stated above, players can revisit the original storyline to earn two new achievements. These include Ivaldi’s Heir: Fully upgrade a Divine Gear and Circle of Renewal: Complete a New Game+ run badges.

Moreover, Ubisoft has stated on its official website that it added several small balancing changes to improve dual wielding and statistics, along with balancing skill masteries and their bonuses.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was released on November 10, 2020, and the PlayStation 5 Pro enhanced version was released today. The game currently has a 4.08-star rating out of five on the PlayStation Store. Players can purchase it from the store for $59.99.
