The dawn of each new campaign begins in the familiar character builder, where you take a chance with RNG to roll for favourable stats to get a better head start compared to your server-wide peers. This Shibuya BETA Races guide introduces you to the lineages of this Jujutsu Kaisen-inspired game, including their roll chance, perks, and details on how to get more rerolls, and which is the best of the selection.
Let’s get into it.
Start playing Shibuya BETA via Roblox.
Shibuya BETA Races
Mythic Races – 2%
The peak of Shibuya society. These are the highest rarity races and most sought-after across the digital plane. Rolling these is akin to godhood, arguably.
Death Painting
Brotherhood (Passive): Sense friendly Death Paintings in the same Guild or Party through walls.Rot (Passive): When a player attempts to apply bleed, toxic blood may burst onto the opponent as retaliation.Cursed Reinforcement (Passive): Same as the Cursed Spirit Race. Gain a passive Cursed Reinforcement which allows for a defensive stack that absorbs hits and reduces DMG.Blood Throw (Skill): Roll blood into your fist and hurl it at a target (close-range attack).Blue Demon Variant: Gain a Demon Shift at Grade 2.
Legendary Races – 4%
Most players would comfortably reside in the Legendary category for fear of rolling something worse if they attempted to reach the highest rarity. Fortunately, these Races have a lot to offer in long-term play.
Mutated Corpse
Panda: In big form, gain x2 Side +40% Non-Technique Damage, take 15% less damage, but become 8% slower.Panda: In small form, become half the size and 15% quicker.Mutated Corpse Tubes: Get the Overcharge skill instead of Switch Types. Tubes glow in the user’s Cursed Energy colour. When hit, the Tubes explode and splash enemies, damaging them.
Rare Races – 7%
The Rare Races, despite only being a step up from Common, have an incredibly low roll rate in comparison. They also, however, have niche and situational skills which make them a comfortable roll, but not an untouchable one.
Incarnated Sorcerer
Gain an innate +10% more Cursed Technique DMG and a free Cursed Technique Skill before completing the Trial.
Note: The Trial is how you attain a Cursed Technique (via Yuki when at Grade 2 or higher)
Common Races – 87%
Both the common races have fairly similar perks, making them fairly interchangeable. However, being the most common also makes them unreliably weak as primary choices.
Cursed Spirit
Gain a passive Cursed Reinforcement which allows for a defensive stack that absorbs hits and reduces DMG.
Human
Gain an innate +10% HP buffer, allowing the user to tank more hits from opponents before falling.

How to get Rerolls?
Whilst in the customisation menu, you can redeem Codes to get more Rerolls, or buy more using Robux.
What else are Rerolls used for?
Rerolls alter your Race, Clan, and Cursed Technique.
