Surviving an entire school week by cheating your way through exams with your friends is an idea that sounds incredibly fun! That’s the concept of Finals Week, which is out now on PC. It’s a 1–4 player co-op cheating simulator set in a ’90s-style school.

Nobody studied, everyone’s panicking!

There are 12 increasingly difficult exams, and studying is the one thing nobody’s willing to do. So, you’ll be stealing answers from classmates, hunting down textbooks and hidden notes, searching for information online, and passing answers around using cellphones and walkie-talkies. You can even use the classroom layout to your advantage and sneak information right under the professor’s nose.

But, of course, you can’t just cheat in peace. The Professor is your biggest problem. He becomes increasingly suspicious, tightens restrictions, and starts making your life miserable if he catches you. Expect to get gagged, tied up, smacked, knocked out, and subjected to all sorts of ridiculous punishments. There’s even a Cone of Shame for students who misbehave.

The teacher also patrols the classroom, listens for suspicious conversations, and throws erasers with deeply concerning accuracy. So, yes, proximity voice chat is there, but maybe don’t loudly announce your master plan while he’s standing three desks away.

Finals Week gives you a lot of helpful tools

Cellphones, walkie-talkies, binoculars, paper balls, and a tranquilizer blowgun are available so that you can pull off your little schemes. And cheating isn’t limited to passing notes on paper. You can draw and write answers on desks, walls, sheets of paper, and even your friends’ faces.

Finals Week makes the hall become your hangout spot between exams. There, you can play basketball, throw baseballs, decorate statues, and cause trouble. You can also explore classrooms, discover secret passages, and find different ways to use the environment to your advantage.

Finals Week is out now on Steam, priced at $7.99 USD, and there’s a 38% launch discount running for the first two weeks.
