Equipping Pixel Lineage Scrolls unlocks additional abilities that you can use once per battle. Only one Scroll can be equipped in Pixel Lineage, so if you want to use a different one, you’ll have to swap it out. Scrolls are important additions to character builds, as are classes. I’ve written an Ultra and Super Classes Tier List for Pixel Lineage to help you create the best build for your playstyle.
Pixel Lineage Scrolls
As you venture through the Acts in Pixel Lineage, you have a chance to collect Scrolls. These Scrolls can then be equipped, unlocking an additional ability to use in battle. You can only equip one Scroll at a time.
To find the Scrolls you’ve obtained, open the Gear menu and click the Equipment tab.
Best Scrolls
The best Scrolls to collect are Renewal and Void Rift. That isn’t to say the others are bad; in fact, I’m quite a fan of the Blade Storm Scroll myself. It’s helped me a lot when farming specific Acts, especially when there are multiple enemies during a battle.
Anyway, Renewal replenishes your HP, as well as the HP of your allies, which can make a huge difference during the more difficult fights. Void Rift is guaranteed to inflict enemies with the Weakened debuff for an entire 2 turns, all the while dealing massive DMG.
All Scrolls
While there are regular Scrolls, some can also have an additional power, such as Chilling, Venomous, Arcane, and Shielded. These powers do not change the ability granted by the Scroll, but they do add an extra stat buff.
Focus Strike
Grants you the Focused buff for 2 rounds and increases the chances of Focus Strike being a Critical Hit. Great to use at the start of a battle, whether you’re fighting mobs or bosses.
Recommended Classes:
Thief / Assassin
Blade Storm
Summons 7 swords to rain down on random enemies. Best used when there is more than 1 enemy in the battle. Note that the chosen enemies are random, so there’s no guarantee the swords will hit a specific enemy.
Recommended Classes:
WarriorThief
Renewal
Replenishes the HP of the entire party, specifically 30% of the ally’s Maximum HP. This Scroll is useful for a solo run to keep you alive, however, it’s perfect for when you’re playing in a party, even if you aren’t playing a Healer class.
Recommended Classes:
BardCleric
Void Rift
Deal a massive amount of DMG to the enemy, inflicting them with the Weakened debuff for 2 turns. Remember that this Scroll attacks just one enemy, making it super useful during boss fights. But, if there’s a particular mob that’s giving you trouble, then the Void Rift Scroll will come in handy.
Recommended Classes:
Useful for all classes, but especially those that mainly focus on DPS
Scroll of Thunder
Has a chance to stun the enemy after attacking them with lightning. This is probably the weakest Scroll by far, mainly because the stun isn’t guaranteed. It basically deals extra DMG, which is good, but there are better Scrolls out there to equip.
Recommended Classes:
Any DPS or Tank-based classes
Out-of-Office Memo
The Out-of-Office Memo Scroll is the rarest, and for good reason. This Secret Scroll unlocks the stats, buffs, and the ability tied to it, including:
Mirror WardEmberbrandDuskbrandThornmailEvergreenMomentumFrostbrandDeep WoundsPyreEchoCullingSpellbladeBulwarkBloodpactMana TideBloodragePredatorOverchargeShatterBattlemageSurge
As you can see, the recommended classes for this Scroll depends on the ability and stats it grants.
Codes of Chronos
This Scroll is exclusive to Mages. It pauses time for one enemy, dealing DMG to them with a chance of being stunned.
How to Get Scrolls
Scrolls are obtained at random when completing battles and progressing through Acts. They have a chance to drop from both mobs and bosses. You can also purchase Scrolls from the Auction House with Gold.
