Pixel Lineage Soul Essence [How to Get and Uses]

Some may argue that the Pixel Lineage Soul Essence item isn’t worth farming for or purchasing with Gold, and I kind of agree with them. Soul Essence is an item you can use to reroll your character’s race in Pixel Lineage, but realistically, you could just wait for free Race Spins.

Pixel Lineage Soul Essence

Soul Essence is a Mythic rarity item used to reroll your character’s race. The problem is, you cannot guarantee the race you want, as even this rare item relies on RNG. You can get plenty of free Race Spins by redeeming codes, but if you’ve used them all up already and you don’t want to wait for new codes, then Soul Essence may be the only way to go.

Once you roll the race you want, you can start working towards the Race Evolutions to unlock new skills and buffs. To evolve your character’s race, you need Heirlooms and Heartbloods.

How to Get Soul Essence

Like most resources in Pixel Lineage, Soul Essence has a chance of dropping during runs, albeit a rare occurrence. This item can drop during any Act or battle, so there’s no need to farm a specific location or enemy type.

The Auction House

However, you can also obtain it by paying the Auction House a visit. This is where Gold comes into play, as you’re going to need a lot of it to purchase an item as rare as Soul Essence.

Prices vary, but at the time of writing this guide, there’s Soul Essence up for sale at the Auction House for 56K+, 200K+, 2 million, and upwards of 5 million Gold. Players can choose to sell a single Soul Essence or a bundle. Sometimes, the higher prices aren’t worth paying, especially if you’re only getting one Soul Essence with that purchase. If you’ve got lots of spare Gold, then a bundle might be worth it, but I recommend keeping an eye out for the bargains.

Due to the nature of the Auction House, you can’t simply buy an item outright, as you’re required to bid for it. This means other players can raise the bid price, knocking you out of the line. Each bid has a timer, and the closer it is to ending, the better the chance you have when upping the price just that little bit more.

Codes for Race Spins

As mentioned earlier in this guide, you can get Race Spins by redeeming codes. Before you can redeem a code in Pixel Lineage, you first need to join the game’s official Roblox group. Once you’ve done that, you can visit the Goblin Merchant at the castle, scroll down to the bottom of the pop-up window, and enter the code you wish to redeem.
