One of the hardest challenges posed by Slayers 2 is locating all the craftable schematics. So, if you’re ready to go on a map-wide hunt into all the nooks and crannies, stick around for my Slayers 2 Firstlight Weapon Schematic Locations guide, which tells you where to find each one and what you need to complete its challenges.

Slayers 2 Firstlight Weapon Schematic Locations
Insect Katana
Near where the Insect Boss spawns at Mistfall Harbour, jump into the river, close to the tree trunk bridge that suspends over the lake. Under the tree bridge in the lake is a small hole entrance leading further into a secret cave. Follow the cave, and you’ll find the Insect Katana encased in ice.
Sound Cleavers
Head South from Windy Peak and enter the tundra. I recommend having the Emberheart Lantern so that the gradual snow damage doesn’t kill you before you make it to this schematic location.
Continue south and enter the maze within the cave. Follow the maze to the parkour section and complete it. On the other side, you’ll find the Duelist Hibuki NPC. After talking to him, you need to defeat him in battle, and he will then drop the Sound Cleavers Schematic.
Firstlight Katana
From the Iceveil Settlement out in the tundra, you need to travel to the wind trainer, and then jump into the water, travelling under his platform and down into the water cave. Inside the cave, follow the pathway: first left, first left again, first right, straight to the end. On your left side at the end of the tunnel is the Firstlight Katana.
Firstlight Spear
The Spear also appears in the same cave as the katana above, so use the previous directions but in reverse to make it back to the beginning of the cave. From the start of the cave entrance, travel in a straight line, and you’ll find the Firstlight Spear.
Warfans
Talk to Lucy in the beginner village first, and then travel to the Mother Bear spawn location to speak to Tom. Gather the Bear Meat and return to Lucy to cook it. Repeat this until you have 9x Cooked Bear Meat.
Next, travel to Iceveil and speak to the shrine guard Shiro. Collect his quest to restock the settlement and complete the tasks.
Cooked Bear Meat stocked: 9 requiredHealth Elixirs stocked: 25 required
Obtained from the Alchemist Meku at the docks, and requires 2x Demon Horns per elixir to craft. (50 Demon Horns total).
After completing the quest, you can buy a shovel from the shopkeeper, also at Iceveil, costing 1,000 Wen each. With the shovel, you now need to make a trip and speak with specific NPCs IN ORDER.
Shiori: Located at Butterfly MansionDockmaster: Located at the DocksTrapper Retsu: Located against the torii gate at the start of the snowy tundra.Shopkeeper: Located in Snow Village
The Shopkeeper will hint at the Fans’ hidden location. Head south from his shop, and towards where the Douma boss spawns, you’ll find a snow mound that you can dig up. Open the chest, and inside is the schematic.
Tanto
Travel through the Mother Bear area and speak with Old Trapper Retsu, located against the torii gate at the start of the snowy area. Ask him about the lantern on his belt. If this doesn’t work, you need to first unequip any lanterns you’re wearing.
Pay Retsu what he requests, and then head into the snow. Do not equip any lantern. For this Schematic to reveal itself, you need to take snow damage and stop at campsites to warm up.
Head towards the cave, enter, and walk straight. You’ll begin to see glowing mushrooms growing inside the cave. Step on each one (without a horse), and you’ll see them disperse into particles.
Follow the mushroom trail, standing on each one, and when you’ve done them all, begin heading back out of the cave, and you’ll spot the Mushroom Lit Lantern on the ground. Equip the lantern, and follow the secret footprints to reach the snow mound and dig it up with the shovel to find the Tanto Schematic.
Bladed Wagasa
Before getting the Wagasa, you need the Firstlight Mask, found on the other side of the rocks at the back of the Taichi Trainer Cave. Craft the mask, and then equip it.
Head past the village at Windy Peak and complete the boulder push-and-pull minigame. With the boulder, follow where you see the white arrow appear on your screen. When placing the boulder on the arrow location, an NPC will spawn. After this, you need to complete some item requirements, including crafting the Damascus Bladed Wagasa, for the NPC to give you the Bladed Wagasa schematic.
