How to Become a Witch in Vampire Life
To become a Witch, you need to be a Human who finds a grimoire book that spawns randomly across the map. After finding it, interact with it to reveal your true innate power and rebirth as a Witch.

At any given moment, the highest-level witch on any server will temporarily receive the Supreme Witch title, alongside some additional buffs:
+10% Increased Magic DMG+10% Increased Strength potency and duration+10% Petrification durationNo increased mana cost
Witch Abilities
Witches begin their campaign with two skills, and gradually unlock more as they refine their abilities through the levelling system.
Incendia + a Passive Ability: Starting SkillsStrength: At level 25, unlock a temporary buff that is accessed when typing Strength! into chat.
+20% Strength (no stack) – 38 Second CD.
Petrification: At level 25, unlock the Petrification ability, which works on both NPCs and players.
25 Second CD.
Neck Breaker: At level 50, unlock the ability to snap the necks of NPCs and players.
15 Second CD.
Heartstopper: At level 100, unlock the ability to rip the hearts out of players and NPCs.
90 Second CD.
Pain Infliction: At level 140, unlock the ability to inflict high pain on players and NPCs, at the cost of mana depletion and some recoil.
35 Second CD.
Magic Altar
The Magic Altar resides in the wilderness of the forest, somewhere near the edge of the map. Using the Altar, Witches can craft Vampire Protection Potions and a Temporary Daylight Ring to help Vampires.
Praesidium Crafting
Praesidium Potion [Level 100+]
Open the container and buy a cup for 800 coins, or a dish for 3,000. A Vampire of level 100 or higher must equip the container and use their E ability to fill it with blood, creating the Blood Cup/Blood Dish item.A witch of level 100+ will take the blood-filled container and Verbena (a flower which spawns around the map), and take it to the crafting table, placing all items in the designated spot.Complete the spell by typing Praesidium! in the chat. Then, equip and consume the potion when necessary.
Note: If the Witch dies during the crafting of the spell, the ritual cancels, and all invested ingredients are lost.
Praesidium Effects
Praesidium Cup: Protection for 20 minutes.Praesidium Dish: Protection for 40 minutes.
If a vampire, cannibal vampire, or resurrected cannibal bites the witch, the attacker will enter hibernation after the bite animation ends. If they attempt to break a witches next, the spell turns against them, killing the attacking vampire instead of the witch.
Daylight Ring Crafting
Daylight Ring [Level 100+]
Requires a heart, obtained when using the heart-stealing ability, and a Metal Ring (bought for 5,000 from the General Merchant).
Daylight Ring Effects
Temporarily protects the user from the sun, negating the burning damage.
How To Get a Broom
Visit the Witch’s Little Shop and purchase the broom for 15,000 cash. The broom allows for faster travel, giving witches a combat advantage to swarm enemies, or evade them and make clean getaways.
However, they have low durability, so I suggest using it sparingly.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if a Witch consumes blood?
As a Witch, if you drink a vial of Vampire or Human blood, this will override your race, turning you into whichever race you consumed the blood of. At the same time, it will reset your race. This means you get a pass if you decide the arcane lifestyle isn’t for you.
Where is the general merchant NPC?
Next to the church.
Where is the witch shop?
Towards the middle of the map, just off to the east, along a pathway. It’s pretty close to the Hunters Base.
Are witches strong?
They’re not as efficient as other races, especially vampires, but they have some unique skills that do pose a threat. The game is still in public testing, so hopefully they’ll get buffed in later versions.
