Disney Dreamlight Valley Season of Scares update is here, and Oogie Boogie has some challenges for you to tackle during the Halloween month. For the first time ever, Oogie Boogie is a limited-time character that players can unlock before it goes away for a year. If you are wondering how to unlock Oogie Boogie as soon as possible in Disney Dreamlight Valley, then we will walk you through the whole process.
How to Unlock Oogie Boogie in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Oogie Boogie is the first limited-time character in Disney Dreamlight Valley. He is only available to unlock until November 4th, 2026. After November 4, Oogie Boogie will leave and return next year during the same time. Another twist is that unlocking Oogie Boogie requires completing a series of challenges that lasts 6 weeks. Every week, Oogie Boogie will come up with a new challenge, and upon completing all challenges, you will get to welcome Oogie Boogie to the Valley. Now, if you do not pursue Oogie Boogie’s quests (challenges) before November 4, you will lose the chance to unlock Oogie Boogie this year.
To begin Oogie Boogie’s challenge, you have to pursue the “A Halloween Invasion” quest. It is the introductory quest for his challenges. After completing this quest, you have to wait and complete a new challenge each week. For each week’s challenge, you will be rewarded with exclusive rewards, including Zero as a companion. Upon completing the sixth week’s challenge, “Oogie Boogie’s Big Game,” Oogie Boogie will officially unlock as a villager.
For the initial quest, head to Scrooge’s Store to investigate a strange mirror. Step through the mirror to find yourself in a spooky version of Scrooge’s Store, where you will find Oogie Boogie. After that, you can complete the first challenge of Oogie Boogie.

Remember, you can start the initial quest to be safe from locking out Oogie Boogie for the year. You do not have to complete all six quests before November 4. Once you have started Oogie Boogie’s initial quest, you can complete the rest of the quests at your own pace and unlock him whenever you want. However, if you do not start any of his quests before November 4, then you have to wait until next year.
