With Aniimo Eggs, you can hatch those you may not have found in the wild yet. Some eggs guarantee specific rarities and Aniimo forms, making them highly sought-after. One Aniimo you definitely can’t get from an Egg is Irisalis.
Aniimo Eggs
You can collect eggs, which you can then take to a Hatchinator at the Outpost or at your Homeland. Each egg has a specific hatching duration, so you’ll have to revisit once the timer ends. Rarer eggs tend to take longer to hatch. The longest is currently the Dreamy Egg, which takes 24 hours.
How to Get Eggs
In the Wild
Eggs can be found across Idyll’s map, most commonly found in nests. While you can randomly spot them as you explore, some only appear once you complete a puzzle, including those that require Twining with an Aniimo with a specific element.
Operation Egg Heist
Operation Egg Heist puts you in a team of 3 players, or you can play solo, as you compete against other teams and Aniimo for eggs in the Lost Isles.
Once you reach Veteran Pathfinder, you unlock the Operation Egg Heist game mode.
To complete a round, you need to meet the Escape Conditions, which tend to require you to collect an egg and earn a specified amount of Eggshell Coins.
To obtain Eggshell Coins, you must defeat the Aniimo you find within the sanctum, collecting their loot, with each piece having its own value.
You and your team must enter sanctums to find egg nests. A member of your team must Twine with the egg to control it, rolling it towards the sanctum’s exit. Once you get out of the sanctum, it’s time to roll towards the Egg Boat.
After reaching the higher ranks in Operation Egg Heist, you unlock the Hard and Nightmare difficulties, which grant more rewards.
Operation Egg Heist is also the only way to obtain Darkler Eggs, which, when hatched, grant a Dark variant of an Amiino.

Which Eggs Can You Collect?
There are an abundance of eggs to obtain, some of which guarantee a specific Aniimo, whereas others grant a random one from a pool of possibilities.
Depending on the type of egg you’re hatching, you can guarantee a Prismana form, a Sparkling form, an Elite rarity, and a certain Aniimo form or combat type.
Hatching an Egg
The selection of Aniipods you can use when hatching an egg. There are 7 Aniipods available, with only two of them making a major difference. The Ultra Aniipod guarantees an Elite, whereas the Sparkling Cube guarantees a Perfect and Sparkling Aniimo.

Before you even know which Aniimo is about to hatch, unless you’re hatching an egg that guarantees a specific one, you’ll know its element, potential/tier, form, and role.
The Aniipod you use to Twine with the egg also makes a difference. With an Aniipod Ultra, you’re guaranteeing an Elite Aniimo, and a Sparkling Cube guarantees a Sparkling Aniimo with Perfect Potential.
