Before you venture across the vast land of Aniimo, you’ll have the choice of one of fourteen free Prismanas via the PRISMANA PACT Event. But which free Prismana should you pick in Aniimo? Learn about your options in this guide, which helps refine the selection into one that fits you, with the best long-term versatility.

Some things to consider before I get into each Prismana: At the beginning of the game, before making it to the Prismana selection, you’ll get your starter Aniimo, Lunara or Helion, both of which are Light elementals. Light wielders in Aniimo have fairly neutral coverage, making them a decent all-rounder.

This means selecting your Prismana isn’t as simple as choosing based on what your team lacks, as Helion or Lunara will cover most type match-ups. So, your choice can be biased, whether in looks, longevity, type, stats, AoE, etc.

Which FREE Prismana Should You Pick in Aniimo?

All Prismana types included in the free selection can be found in the wild, so you will eventually unlock them all with enough playtime.

I recommend Glacy as your free Prismana pick, but I will still cover the basic rundown of each selection if you want to explore your options more in-depth.

Stellarys

Dark-Ice is an incredibly powerful dual-type early-game Prismana for upcoming battles and progression. Basically solo steamrolls through early-game content and is a meta selection for early-game DPS Prismana.

Pawney

Mono-Dark type, but does provide a solid enemy stun, which can be valuable in some scenarios.  Overall, a little lacklustre because of its mono-typing, and therefore not my recommended pick.

Ignitis

Fire/Dark type with triple elemental coverage with attacks, and super armour from its Fire Dash ability. This is one of the first early-game instances of super armour, making Ignitis a valuable asset if you want that added protection going into PvP.

Luminelle

Luminelle offers limited healing to water and electric types only, and an attack buff thats only applicable to lightning. Overall, a limiting Prismana, despite its Holy-Electric typing that otherwise has great coverage.

Scorchhowl

Fire-type elemental, so somewhat of a wasted pick in the early game. He isn’t as strong as other Prismanas, and holds back a team because of his mono kit. I wouldn’t really recommend selecting him unless you want to on vanity alone, which is fine :D.

Glacy

Glacy does it all, fitting into every team with no type-locked skills or long set-ups for executions. It offers great healing and has incredible DMG AMPS, making it the best all-rounder selection for your free Prismana.

Thanks to its universal kit, Glacy also continues to be useful right into the late-game, meaning once it’s on your team, you’re unlikely to want to remove it at any point. A brilliant investment!

Panpanta

Mono-water type, with skills that only work near water, making Panpanta very situational. He does, however, have a pretty decent shield, but with stiff skills, it negates his overall versatility and makes him a pretty unfortunate pick.

Cornet

Cornet offers four different elemental attacks when levelled up sufficiently. However, being an Electric-Wind type makes it a double-edged sword to play, given it has a lot of elemental vulnerabilities.

This means it delicately balances a DPS build with versatile skills, but is partially a glass cannon and easy to overwhelm in combat.

Hexxin / Witchin

A support-regeneration Aniimo, with anti-shielding in its kit, that thrives best in Dark teams because of the [PRANK] trait.

Prank: Every 18s, the next skill applies [Curse] to enemies hit for 10s. Dark basic attacks restore 50% of EP regen as EP when hitting enemies with [Curse].

A good choice if you want a Dark team, but falls off pretty quickly otherwise.

Magmarex

Duals break and DPS-style combat, making it versatile for staggering enemies and chipping away at their HP. Magmarex is also a dual-elemental type between Fire and Dark, which already makes it a more valuable Fire Prismana choice than Scorchhowl.

Turbo

Turbo is a Dark-Wind type that has a wool-load of versatility in its kit. It includes a break boost, stagger boost, Dark-DMG boost, and helpful shielding. Generally good if you’re investing in a Dark team, but there are better Dark Prismana selections if not.

Blazen

A great Dark-Electric break-focused Animo that staggers enemies, which also increases catch chance. Blazen’s main drawback is its lower DPS than others; however, later in the game against bosses where staggering matters to capture, it could be the clutch on your team.

Thornblade

Thornblade is hard to play unless you have a background in games with perfect parry systems. Unless executing perfect parries amongst the visual clutter during battle, Thornblade is not the strongest selection, as its moves won’t have enough impact.

However, if you’re confident, it does make for an excellent DPS thanks to the coverage from its Grass-Water typing.

Grizbo

Grizbo is strong off the bat, and later gains the Dark Element, which is powerful long-term across the entire game. Overall, this Aniimo has solid offensive capabilities and is a true DPS Prismana, which is ideal during the free selection stage.
