Wardogs is a massive multiplayer military shooter in which you fight for control, and having the best weapons in your gear gives you an upper hand against weaker players. However, all of the best weapons in the game require progression and money to unlock. Money is king in Wardogs, and you have to pay a lot of money to unlock the weapons to use them in the match. In this guide, we will explain how to unlock all weapons and what the cost of each weapon is in Wardogs.

How to Unlock All Weapons in Wardogs

Wardogs offers a total of 32 weapons at launch, categorized into 9 types, including Assault Rifle, Submachine Gun, Light Machine Gun, Shotgun, Sniper Rifle, Marksman Rifle, Pistol, Launcher, and Bow. To unlock the weapons of each type, you must level up in 4 types of skills out of 6. There are 6 skills in the game, but you only need to level up in 4 to start unlocking the weapons of every category. These skills are Assault, Medic, Support, and Recon. Moreover, the Pistols only unlock with Career Level, which is your Wardogs’ level. The better you perform in matches, the faster the career level will increase.

What is the Unlock Cost & Purchase Cost

Upon reaching the required level of a weapon, the weapon will be available for you to unlock, but for a cost. This is the Unlock Cost, a one-time payment. Every weapon has a unique unlock cost, and you must pay the price to make the gun available for purchase at the vendor in the match. The money you pay for the weapon to the vendor is the Purchase Cost.

The purchase cost of a weapon can be up to a few thousand, depending on the weapon, and the unlock cost can be up to a hundred thousand, but it is a one-time payment. However, you have to pay the purchase cost of a weapon every time you want to use it in a match.

Now, there are two ways you can pay the unlock cost to get the weapon from the vendor. The first method is that you can head into the “Unlock” tab in the main menu and unlock the respective weapon by paying the price. The second method is to unlock the weapon from the vendor during the match.

NOTE: All items in Wardogs are unlocked and purchased in the same way. You unlock a new item by reaching a certain level and then paying an unlock cost. After that, you can use that item by purchasing it from the vendor.
