Earth Must Die, the British cartoonish sci-fi point-and-click adventure, is heading to consoles. The game comes from BAFTA Award-winning studio Size Five Games and publisher No More Robots, and it originally released on PC in January 2026.
Very silly, I mean very very
Earth Must Die lands on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 on September 9th, 2026. You play as VValak Lizardtongue, a dictator trying to destroy Earth. Also known as the Grand Shepherd of the Tyrythian Empire, VValak is trying to stop the Terranoids from taking over his beloved Tyrythian kingdom.
Unfortunately for him, the Terranoid Empire invades his sector of space after he alerts them, and things go very badly from there. So, he decides he’s going to head over to Earth with his childhood nursing bot, Milky, destroy the planet, and turn it into a stinking pile of rubble.
Earth Must Die being a full-on animated cartoon sci-fi comedy is what made it a hit on PC
A beautifully rendered cartoonish sci-fi epic, the title has a pretty stacked voice cast. It features the voices of Alex Horne, Joel Fry, Martha Howe-Douglas, Ben Starr, Tamsin Greig, and loads more. And they surely do justice to this anarchic comedy game.
One unique feature of the game is that there’s no inventory at all. Instead of picking everything up himself and stuffing it into an inventory, VValak orders people around the area to do his bidding. Take a look at the game below.
Earth Must Die is available on Steam for PC. And it’s coming to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 on September 9th. You can grab it on your preferred platform to know if VValak becomes successful in his attempt and whether our planet really dies.
