Doomsday: Last Survivors has teamed up with another huge name anime. All September, DLS and Seven Deadly Sins are working together, with a bunch of special events to enjoy both in and out of game.
Doomsday: Last Survivors is a zombie survival game with a few different bits to it. Your objective is to survive a world decimated by the undead, and build a settlement where survivors can rebuild safely. While you’ll be building facilities and securing resources, you also need to get your hands dirty, with combat missions where a small hero team fends off hordes with their unique skills… and guns, lots of guns.
Seven Deadly Sins is a medieval fantasy manga and anime that follows the titular Seven Deadly Sins, a slightly irregular band of knights each branded according to their governing vice… and that’s normally the least surprising thing about each of them.
So what does the collab itself bring to the table?
First up is the Fairy King’s Forest. Players drop Magic Orbs through an obstacle course, with a bunch of rewards up for grabs. You’ll get one free orb each day, so that’s thirty shots at some limited edition rewards including Seven Deadly Sins themed skins, backgrounds, and chat frames.
Next up is the Knightly Trials. These are daily missions to complete. The more you finish, the further you progress through the trials, and the greater the prizes available. These include a Boar Hat shelter skin, avatar frame, and chat emoji.
You can also complete missions for the Crazy Experiment event, where you need to fill out rows or columns on the experiment grid. Through this you can unlock a limited shelter decoration and emoji.
Team up with other players to face the Commandment’s Curse and take on the fearsome Galland. All players’ heroics are counted here, with collective server progress unlocking rewards for everyone who takes part, as well as rewards for major contributions.
Finally, head outside the game to the special event website to play the Lucky Dice Adventure. Roll dice and hunt for clues as you try to help Meliodas return home… and maybe you’ll get some prizes for yourself in the process.
Interested in all this but not yet a DLS player? No problem. You can download the game for free on PC, iOS, or Android.
