I’ve ranked all Subskills and Clan Skills in my Ryujin Skills Tier List. As well as the Skills you use, you need to think about which clan you want to be part of in Ryujin. To join a clan, you’re relying on RNG, with the best clans being extremely rare drops.
While I’ve ranked the skills that are exclusive to specific clans, my Ryujin Clans Tier List ranks each one from best to worst. Once you join one of the best clans, you can focus on getting the strongest skills.
Ryujin Skills Tier List
In Ryujin, there are Subskills and Clan Skills. You can probably guess, but Clan Skills are exclusive to their corresponding clans. So, you can only unlock and use them if you are a member of that specific clan.
S Tier
Soul Focus [Subskill]
Effect:
Replenishes 10% HP during combat or 15% HP outside of combat

Requirements:

Iron Boulder [Subskill]
Effect:
You are locked in place for 5 seconds, reflecting all incoming DMG

Inferno Nirvana Kick [Ilpyo Clan]
Effect:
The first use is a short dash and a kick, and the second use kicks the target into the air, followed by an axe kick with a 100% chance of inflicting Burn

Be a member of the Ilpyo clan and speak with Park Ilpyo
Hosted Virus [Hanafusa Clan]
Effect:
Every 4th Basic Attack and every Heavy Attack applies one stack of Hosted Virus, capping at 5 stacks. At 5 stacks, the target gets a random virus, including Neurotoxin, Hypoxia, or Hemotoxin

Be a member of the Hanafusa clan and speak with Hanafusa Hajime
Land Sickness [Karo Clan]
Effect:
Get stacks of Land Sickness when you’re knocked back, ragdolled, concussed, and when you attack with Whale Burial. At 4 stacks, your DMG increases by 15% and any Fat and Muscle debuffs are decreased by 25% for 8 seconds

A Tier
Breakout [Subskill]
Effect:
Escape from a carry or gripReplenishes 5% of your HPBecome Invincible for 1 second

Requirements:

Hiraishin [Subskill]
Effect:
Place a mark on the ground which you can teleport back to. The mark only lasts for 10 seconds

Whirlwind [Kaioh Clan]
Effect:
Rapid consecutive attacks, dealing damage and stunning the target for 8 seconds
How to Unlock:
Be a member of the Kaioh clan and speak with Retsu Kaioh
Terminal Stab [Hanafusa Clan]
Effect:
A quick attack directly in front of you, stunning the target, dealing damage, and applying 3 stacks of Hosted Virus
How to Unlock:
Be a member of the Hanafusa clan and speak with Hanafusa Hajime
Bite [Hammer Clan]
Effect:
Grab the target and bite them before throwing them away
How to Unlock:
Be a member of the Hammer clan and speak with Jack Hanma
Whale Burial [Karo Clan]
Effect:
A harpoon attack, directly in front of you, applying 4 stacks of Land Sickness
How to Unlock:
Be a member of the Karo clan and speak with Yoshinari Karo
B Tier
Peek [Subskill]
Effect:
See the HP, Stamina, and Broken Bones of nearby players
How to Unlock:
Speak to the Kim Soohyun [Peek/Taekkyon] NPC
Requirements:
4.2K Battle Sense25K Won
Dress [Hanma Clan]
Effect:
Grab the enemy before spinning them around and throwing them away, causing them to ragdoll
How to Unlock:
Be a member of the Hanma clan and speak with Yujiro
Darkness Blow [Sta Clan]
Effect:
Can only be activated after a Critical Hit, dealing damage, stunning the target, and increasing the Rib Breaking count by 1
How to Unlock:
Be a member of the Sta clan and speak with Twister
Body Slam [Haruo Clan]
Effect:
A body slam that deals damage and stuns the target
How to Unlock:
Be a member of the Haruo clan and speak with Kono Haruo
Blast Core [Wakatsuki Clan]
Effect:
An attack that is charged up before exploding and Guard Breaking
How to Unlock:
Be a member of the Wakatsuki clan and speak with Takeshi Wakatsuki
Stardrop [Hatsumi Clan]
Effect:
Grab the target before slamming them into the ground
How to Unlock:
Be a member of the Hatsumi clan and speak with Sen Hatsumi
Makunouchi Boxing [Makunouchi Clan]
Effect:
A long counter attack, weaving the target before pummelling them, dealing increased damage and ragdolling them
How to Unlock:
Be a member of the Makunouchi clan and speak with Ippo Makunouchi
Bungee Gum: Pull [Morow Clan]
Effect:
Pull a target towards you
How to Unlock:
Be a member of the Morow clan and speak with Hisoka Morow
2G [Sawada Clan]
Effect:
Deals 3 DMG on Spin and 8 DMG on Kick, stunning the target
How to Unlock:
Be a member of the Sawada clan and speak with Sawada
Burmese Iron Hammer [Yoroizuka Clan]
Effect:
Slam your head into the ground to deal damage and stun the target
How to Unlock:
Be a member of the Yoroizuka clan and speak with Saw Paing
Modified Swing [Arashiyama]
Effect:
Grab the target before throwing them to the ground, dealing DMG and stunning them

Flashstep [Subskill]
Effect:
Temporarily increases your speed with a 25-second cooldown

Effect:
A strong kick that knocks enemies back
How to Unlock:
Be a member of the Sano clan and speak with Mikey Sano
Triple Strike [Hatsumi Clan]
Effect:
Increases base DMG by 2.5×3, Guard Breaking on the last hit
How to Unlock:
Be a member of the Hatsumi clan and speak with Sen Hatsumi
D Tier
Boogie Woogie [Subskill]
Effect:
Swaps the places of two other players; this can be someone else or yourself
How to Unlock:
Speak to the Todo [Boogie Woogie] NPC
Requirements:

Five Hit Barrage [Yamazaki Clan]
Effect:
Uppercut your target, sending them into the air before rapidly punching them

Amateur Armbar [Jiu Clan]
Effect:
If the target is standing, attempt a flying armbar, throwing an elbow at their headIf the target is ragdolled, attempt an armbar and then perform 3 hammer fists to their head

Flicker Jabs [Wongsawat Clan]
Effect:
Quick jab attacks

A fast punch straight ahead
