The Lord of Mysteries Classes, or Pathways, are heavily inspired by the show and web novel. If you’re familiar with the franchise, you can probably already hazard a guess as to which Pathways are available in Lord of Mysteries.
Lord of Mysteries Classes
Classes are also known as Pathways in Lord of Mysteries. At launch, there are 6 Pathways to choose from to determine your role and abilities. Classes more or less refer to the roles of each Pathway, including DPS, Support, and Tank.
Please note that this guide is a major work in progress. We’re still getting to grips with the game to gather as much information as possible, so you may notice that some things are missing
Bard
The Bard is an all-rounder Pathway, which can provide Support, DPS, and Tank roles.
Purification
One of the main abilities Bards can wield is Purification, which removes corruption from objects and areas, allowing players to once again interact with them. It also removes debuffs that your allies have been inflicted with.
Mystery Pryer
Mystery Pryers excel in controlling the crowd whilst dealing ranged DMG.
Detection
Anything that was once hidden, including Runes and footprints, becomes visible when a Mystery Pryer reveals your full surroundings.
Apprentice
A highly agile DPS, specialising in burst attacks. Very much a melee.
Warp
Areas that are otherwise inaccessible for most players can be reached by Apprentices thanks to the Warp ability, even if corruption is in the way. An Apprentice can summon a door that teleports them to where they want to go, ignoring all obstacles.
Blink
The Blink ability allows Apprentices to damage enemies quickly with burst attacks.
Spectator
A healer class with supportive capabilities and a really cool dragon animation.
Psychological Cue
You can use your psychological skills to persuade NPCs to tell you secrets and to grant you access to locked areas. You can also read their minds to discover memories that may unveil what you’re looking for.
Warrior
Despite the big sword, Warriors are more of a melee DPS than a tank.
Dual Sword Attack
With their strength, Warriors can wield two swords in both combat and whilst exploring. If there are chests that cannot be opened, don’t worry, as a Warrior can smash through them. The same goes for any boulders blocking your path and locked gates.
Seer
A great class for those who want supportive capabilities with DPS. The Seer Pathway offers crowd control, support, and ranged DPS.
Divination
Use Tarot Cards to discover which options you should choose when you’re struggling with a situation. This can include puzzles, when you’re lost, or when you’re not quite sure what to do in that moment in time. Of course, finding out the answer this way seems to easy, and you’re right. Instead of the right answer being given to you, the wrong ones are crossed out.
Marionettizing
While they cannot use Marionettizing exactly, Seers can wield a very similar, but weakened version.
Upcoming Classes/Pathways
There are planned Pathways that are going to be added to Lord of Mysteries in future updates, such as:
MonsterAssassinLawyer
When these classes are available to play in-game, I’ll add them as a full section above.
