I only recently discovered that farming Inverted Hens was an option. So, rather than gatekeeping, I want to tell you how to farm Inverted Hens in Grow a Chicken Fighter, including why it works and what the cluck is so special about Inverteds in the first place.
Let’s crack on, shall we? (All puns intended)
How To Farm Inverted Hens in Grow a Chicken Fighter
Start with a Bow Chick, which hatches from the Scratch Egg with a 12% chance. The Bow Chick lays Charm and Scratch Eggs with a 70%:30% ratio. From the Charm Eggs, you want to hatch a Plush Chick (15% hatch chance).
Next, raise the Plush Chick to Divine Rarity. You do this via Fusion and the UFO Event, with the UFO Event being the quickest method.
When at Divine rarity, fuse the Plush Chick with a Baron Cluck, which hatches from Royal Eggs (6% chance), Fortune Eggs (43% chance), and Arena Eggs (2% chance). When fusing, ensure you lock the Fortune Egg-laying genetic.
The Fortune Egg only hatches three rarities: Legendary, Mythic, and Secret, with each Fortune Egg having a 0.5% chance to hatch an inverted hen. The Plush Chick has the lowest egg-laying cooldown of any hen in the game, maximising the chance of a high-tier Inverted Hen.
Fuse the Inverted Hen into your main hen for the chance to Invert them.
Why This Method Works
Plush Chick has the lowest egg-laying cooldown of any hen in the game.Baron Cluck has a 100% Fortune Egg laying chanceFortune Egg has a small hatch pool of only high-rarity hens, making the search for Inverteds more efficient.
What Is Inverted?
Inverted permanently buffs the genetic stats of the Hen it’s applied to. However, just because a Hen adopts the Inverted genetic, it does not mean it will guarantee to pass it onto a new lineage if fused.
The higher the rarity of the Inverted Hen, the higher the percentage chance of the fused Hen becoming Inverted, which is why the method above works so well, as it guarantees all potential Inverted hatches being Legendary, Mythic, or Secret.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Inverted hatch chance?
0.5% for any egg in the game. (This is why the Fortune Egg is the best for farming)
What does Inverted do?
Inverts the colour palette of your Hen, and applies the following stat buffs permanently:
+15% HP+15% ATK+5% SPD+5% PWR
Each buff applied by Inverted heightens the limit of Hen genetics.
How does the UFO Event work?
In short, it lifts and enhances the genetics of your hen, which in turn can increase their rarity. For example, the Plush Chick (typically a common) can grow in rarity to uncommon, rare, epic, legendary, mythic, divine, etc.
