How To Get Max Stats in Grow a Chicken Fighter

Even if your chicken is a lower level than their competition, you can still beat their feathery butt in PvP if you invest wisely in stats! In my guide, I’ll teach you how to get Max Stats in Grow a Chicken Fighter, explain what each stat means, and how to make the most of training.

How To Get Max Stats in Grow a Chicken Fighter

Firstly, let’s cover what the stats are and how they change your hen’s performance.

HP: Driven by the Vigour gene.
This stat controls the maximum health your hen can have.
ATK: Driven by the Fury gene.
This stat controls the raw damage of your hen.
SPD: Driven by the Speed/Agility gene.
This stat controls how quickly your hen moves/runs.
PWR: Driven by the Impulse gene.
This gene controls a chicken’s stamina and how often they can perform their special move.

When you hatch a new hen, you’ll notice that the stat bar per gene isn’t at its maximum, which is where stat training comes in.

Stat Training

The two main ways to improve stats are through Fusion and the UFO Pit Event.

When choosing your hen to train, make sure you’re choosing the one with the best starting stats. For example, the image below compares two of my Doll Hens (LVL 1 and untraied) to show the stat difference between hatches. What you’re looking for is the potential, next to the bar of each stat. (HP: 18/29 -> 13/29)

Each of the stats above can be trained to maximum, but it would be quicker and more efficient to train the Doll Hen on the left, given their naturally higher stats.

Fusion

When fusing, you’ll see the stat counter in the top right shuffle between odds. It’s an RNG-based way to increase stats, and you can pull stats from any other Hen.

Hens of the same type will only alter the stats, whereas fusing two different hens will create something new and may change the hens’ appearance, egg types, and special as well. If you want to know more about this, I suggest checking out our Grow a Chicken Fighter Fusions guide.

UFO Pit Event

Alongside fusing, I highly recommend joining the UFO Pit Event. The way it works is that the UFO will beam the strongest Hen in the pit, and mutate their genes to improve them, typically by +1/+2. After being beamed, the Hen will have a short period of poisoning, during which they fight below their total level, giving weaker Hens a chance to get genetic mutations too.

Now, if your hen is strong enough and at a high level, you can usually have several turns on the UFO during the event before they’re too weak to dominate the pits.

With the UFO event, it will ALWAYS improve genes. And once a gene is at maximum, it will give more stat genetics to any remaining stats.

UFO Tips

If you want to use the UFO method to quickly amass some stat buffs, I suggest levelling up your chicken first, which happens when they eat at your coop. But, more importantly, make sure you’re training and levelling an already strong chicken. Stat training weak hens isn’t worth the time investment in the long run. So, if you want a chicken that can beat competition during the event even with level differences, make sure you’re focusing on the correct hen.
