If you’re a completionist like me, you’ll see the lonely hatch from the Grudge Egg in the index category… A rather underwhelming egg that only hatches the Cosmo Brat. But if you want to get your hands on this egg, stick around as I’ll tell you how to get Grudge Eggs in Grow a Chicken Fighter. (Who’s gonna tell em’?)

How To Get Grudge Eggs in Grow a Chicken Fighter

Long story short, you cannot get Grudge Eggs in Grow a Chicken Fighter. So let’s talk about why.

Some players think that the Grudge Egg is a teaser for what’s to come, with the Cosmo Brat being the bridge to completing the egg index for the Grudge Egg. Of course, there aren’t any explicit plans or announcements that say this is the case, but it’s a strong theory nonetheless. Because otherwise, what is the point?

This exclusive and elusive egg also has a pretty odd name… the GRUDGE. You know, like holding a grudge… It’s possible that this exists as an in-joke between the DEVs behind Grow a Chicken Fighter. But what do I know? I’m just a player and writer.

Cosmo Brat

The Cosmo Brat is an uncommon hen that hatches from both the Nest Egg (10% chance) and Scratch Egg (11% chance). It’s purple and pretty unassuming, due to its low rarity and 100% Scratch Egg lay chance, so many players don’t invest much time into them.

They’re only pretty useful if you want to complete the Scratch Egg index, and then swap out for other hens to unlock different eggs.

Even its Special Skill, Blackhole, isn’t as powerful as it sounds.

Blackhole: Opens a singularity that swallows everyone and bursts.
Traps hens in the hole and explodes, dealing damage.

Overall, it makes the Cosmo Brat seem like a random choice for the Grudge Egg. Unless the Cosmo Brat is holding a grudge…? Honestly, I’m not sure what’s going on anymore.
