The main highlight of the new update is the new Shimmerfly Migration event and the first duo dance emote. This new emote is a dance, allowing two players to perform simultaneously. In addition to the new event, an annual event, Insect-A-Palooza, is returning in Palia. Players can catch the insects again to complete the community goals and earn exclusive rewards. Moreover, a new Ranching Animal, Flutterfox, for which players have been waiting for a while, is arriving.
Downtime and Release Time of the Sunkissed Summer: Beauty & the Beach
Palia recently posted a tweet about the maintenance time in preparation for the Sunkissed Summer: Beauty & the Beach update (Patch 0.205), starting at 7 AM PT on July 28, 2026. The downtime for this update is three hours, so it will go live at 10 AM PT on July 28, 2026, across all platforms. Make sure to harvest all of your grown crops, water the newly planted ones, and complete any main or side quests. You won’t be able to access the game until the maintenance is over.
