“Does the Force actually guide you?” Disney+ & Lucasfilm have unveiled the first official trailer for a spin-off anime series titled in full Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi. After the immense success and rave reviews for the short “The Ninth Jedi” from Volume 1 of Star Wars: Visions (and also the sequel in Volume 3), Disney commissioned them to make an entire spin-off series focused on the Jedi hero Kara. This first trailer “hints at a new dangerous mission about to unfold.” The next chapter in a story that continued with “The Ninth Jedi – Child of Hope” in Star Wars: Visions Volume 3, The Ninth Jedi special limited series will follow Kara’s newest adventure in a galaxy far, far away. “Witness the Jedi in a new light” as she fights another rogue Jedi. No other details are available so far – it’s being finalized for release in early August this summer. The actress Kimiko Glenn voiced Lah Kara in the most recent “Child of Hope” short last year. It’s exciting to see them make an entire series based on one of the hit shorts from the Visions series, though this just makes me wish they could extend more of them not just this one. Trust in the Force. This seems like it really digs into the Jedi lore and what it really means to fight for justice. I’m intrigued! This is worth a look. // Continue Reading ›
