Sure, Evomon levels are the main way to progress through each islet, but to reach Ascension, you’ll need my player-made Evomon Player Levelling Guide. Find out how to make the most of daily EXP limits, including all ways to hone your Player EXP, and why it’s so important to reach Ascension levels.
Let’s get into it.
Evomon Player Levelling Guide
The two main ways to gain reliable Player EXP include the main storyline quests and the daily quests.
Main Storyline
These appear on the right side of your game and align with player progression, meaning you’ll never have a challenge that you’re not able to reach with relative ease. The game prompts you to follow these quests to get familiar with the game and mechanics, as well as a means to reach the first ascension level quickly.
Typical story quests include Evomon Capture, defeating NPCs, feeding Evomon, owning Evomon of a certain level, etc.
Daily Quests
Press the notepad icon in the top right, next to your player icon. This opens the Quest-Daily menu, showing you repeatable tasks that refresh every 24 hours. This includes:
Daily Login
Log into the game: +100 Player EXP
Feed Evomon
Feed your Evomon once: +100 Player EXP
Defeat Evomon
Defeat 40 Evomon: +400 Player EXPThis one seems worse than it is, but if you grind at an island where you can 1-shot most spawns, you’ll quickly complete this challenge.
Obtain Evomon
Catch 5 Evomon: +200 Player EXP
Daily Playtime
Stay online for 45 minutes: +400 Player EXP
Defeat Boss
Defeat any Island Boss: +300 Player EXPI recommend visiting the early-game Islands and defeating their world boss for a quick completion.
Defeat NPC
Win a duel against any NPC: +200 Player EXPI recommend rebattling an NPC from the early game that you can quickly defeat for efficient completion.
Dungeon Battle
Complete 2 Dungeon Battles: +300 Player EXPNote: Includes EXP Dungeon, Boss Summons, World Boss, etc.
From my own experience, I’ve noticed all of these can be completed within the 45-minute Daily Playtime limit, making it a pretty quick way to stockpile EXP. The only downside is repetitiveness and only having a finite amount of EXP to earn each day.
All About Ascension
Ascension allows you and your Evomon to prestige past certain level locks. Before Ascension, Evomon may not exceed certain levels, meaning you’re unable to strengthen them, progress through stronger islands, and evolve them depending on requirements.
This halt in progress makes Ascension a non-optional upgrade that you, as a trainer, must meet to continue playing into the mid and late-game.
Ascension itself has some requirements per increment. Once you reach the final level before Ascension, you unlock the required questline. This usually includes capturing several Evomon as proof of your commitment as a trainer.
