PS5 players can now sample a February 2026 action game for free via the PS Store. Developed by Squanch Games, High on Life 2 received a mixed reception at launch. For those still on the fence and/or awaiting a sale, this free demo is worth checking out.
Action shooter High on Life 2 drops free PS5 game demo, no PS Plus required
High on Life 2’s demo isn’t locked behind PS Plus Premium. All PS5 players can play the first two missions, with save data carrying over to the full game as long as you’re using the same account.
“You’ve taken down an intergalactic cartel, brought humanity back from the brink of extinction, and hunted dangerous bounties to the far corners of the galaxy,” a synopsis reads. “Bounty hunting has brought you fame and fortune, but when a mysterious figure from your past reappears and puts a price on your sister’s head, your cushy life gets thrown into chaos.”
Unfortunately, High on Life 2 isn’t part of the ongoing PS Store promotion. If the game’s asking price of $59.99 is too much for you, keep an eye out on our deals page for future sales.
PS Plus Premium members can cloud stream High on Life 2’s demo.
