Does the fruit you’ve stolen count towards the overall Guild KG in Grow a Garden 2? I discuss how to contribute to the Grow a Garden 2 weekly guild competition, including how to grow large crops.
The Grow a Garden 2 Sprinkler Method might be able to help your guild reach 1st place in the competition.
Does Stolen Fruit Count Towards Guild KG in Grow a Garden 2?
The TLDR is that, no, fruit you have stolen from another player’s garden does not count towards the Guild KG. The only crops that count are the ones that you’ve grown yourself, so it’s all down to you and the seeds you plant. The only purpose of stealing fruit from someone else’s garden is to sell it for Sheckles, especially if it’s a rare crop with a high multiplier mutation.
Check out our How to Protect Your Garden in Grow a Garden 2 guide if you’re worried about other players stealing your best crops.
How to Get Large Crops For Guild KG
To contribute to the Guild’s overall KG at the end of the week, you need to prioritise growing large crops. The larger they are, the heavier they are. There are various ways of doing so, including purchasing gear. Some crops are generally heavier, depending on their type.
As for the gear you should use, I recommend:
Common Sprinklers
+7 Size Luck BonusCosts 3K Sheckles
Uncommon Sprinklers
+21 Size Luck BonusCosts 10K Sheckles
Rare Sprinklers
+40 Size Luck BonusCosts 80K Sheckles
Legendary Sprinklers
+65 Size Luck BonusCosts 1,200,000 Sheckles
Super Sprinklers
+100 Size Luck BonusCosts 3,000,000 Sheckles
Weekly Guild Competition
The weekly competition relies on guild members contributing crops with the highest KG. The total KG is calculated by adding all of the weight from your and your guild member’s harvested crops during the week. The rewards you get are determined by the position of your guild in the leaderboard.
The rewards are as follows:
1st Place
Huge Rainbow Ice Serpent
2nd Place
Huge Ice Serpent
3rd Place
Big Rainbow Ice Serpent
4th to 10th Place
Big Ice Serpent
11th to 25th Place
Rainbow Ice Serpent
26th to 100th Place
Ice Serpent
100th to 1,000th Place
25x Common Eggs
1,001th to 5,000th Place
10x Common Eggs
5,000th+ Place
5x Common Eggs
Ice Serpent
As you can see, the main prize for the weekly guild competition is the Ice Serpent pet. This pet is of the Super rarity and can only be obtained by taking part in the competition for guilds that rank between 1st and 100th place. The higher your guild is on the leaderboard, the rarer the variant of the Ice Serpent.
The passive ability of the Ice Serpent causes it to fly around your garden to breathe frost on any players who intrude on your plot. If hit by the frost breath, they are temporarily frozen and cannot move.
Big Ice Serpents and Huge Ice Serpents are super rare, but so are Rainbow Ice Serpents. If a pet has the Rainbow variant, their base abilities are much stronger. Even placing 26th to 100th in the guild competition is worth it just for a regular Ice Serpent.
How Guilds Work
Each guild has a maximum capacity of 50 players, starting at 20. To add more slots to a guild, you need to pay Robux, the price gradually increasing the more slots you already have. If you’d rather go for the free option, you can wait for an invite to a guild that has already been made.
