The Nacon Connect 2026 event has revealed quite a bunch of exciting games. Apart from Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Rageborn, we’re getting another vampire game soon. I know you’re probably getting flashbacks to the 2000s era. It’s called Dracula: The Disciple.
So, Dracula: The Disciple is being made by Cyanide Studio. It’s coming in 2027 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game brings classic Gothic horror and the weird occult puzzle castle vibe. Nacon dropped a new trailer to make the announcement; watch it here!
It’s 1866 Transylvania in Dracula: The Disciple
You play as Emile Valombres, a French archivist who’s dying from a terminal illness. The guy is desperate as the only possible cure is hidden inside Count Dracula’s abandoned castle. Even though it’s very risky, he goes in anyway because what choice does he have?
So, what’s the cure? To survive, Emile basically has to become a vampire. As the disease gets replaced by vampirism, you start unlocking supernatural abilities that let you access areas of the castle humans can’t reach. So, the curse becomes both the problem and the solution!
A first-person adventure, the game is all about puzzle-solving. In Dracula’s castle, the Count left behind all his writings, correspondence, experiments, occult notes, incantations, and alchemical research that explain how he achieved immortality. Your job is to dig through all the cursed homework and figure out how vampiric transformation works before you die.
The caste in Dracula: The Disciple is massive. There are abandoned drawing rooms, mysterious gardens, laboratories, astronomy towers, greenhouses, and dungeons. Also, it changes depending on whether you explore during the day or at night.
