So we’ve been looking into Slime RNG this week. We’ve already taken a look at the recipe locations to help you craft some OP slimes, but this time we’re looking into a particular oozy little extra currency that everyone is eager to find, and it’s not that tricky if you know how. So, let’s explain how to get Goop in Slime RNG.

How To Get Goop
Goop drops from enemies in Slime RNG, but only if you’ve unlocked this via the Goop Upgrade in the Upgrade tree, most specifically in the Enemies branch of the tree. (The one on the right.) The Goop panel costs 10 million gold to unlock. Once you’ve unlocked the option, some enemies will drop Goop on death, causing it to accrue over time.
The Upgrade Path To Goop
Of course, given how upgrade trees work, you’ll need to unlock other upgrades before you can find the Goop one. These all require gold, of course. If you’re desperate to unlock Goop as soon as you can with minimal spend, this is how to get to it in as few prior upgrades as possible.

Beyond the initial unlock, you’ll also see upgrades beyond that will let you upgrade the Goop Drop rate, increasing your count more quickly.
So, with all this focus on the substance, that does beg a question…
What Is Goop?
So, what’s all the fuss about? Goop is an extra currency that you’ll pick up once you’re out of early game in Slime RNG and you’ve unlocked the upgrade. Goop is a requirement for Rebirth, a mechanic that resets your money and zone progress, but in turn boosts your overall luck, making it easier to score rarer and more sought-after slimes each time. Rebirth isn’t a flat rate though, you will need more Goop each time you Rebirth. Expect the cost to double each go, until it becomes prohibitively expensive… but that’s kind of what these games are all about.
Tips For Getting Goop
If it’s becoming a real grind to get Goop, consider a few of these tips to maybe improve your results.
Get the Goop Drip upgrade.
This will immediately increase your yield by 35%. It’s quite pricey a 250 million gold, but as you get into the later game, you will probably want it to save you time. You can continue along this upgrade tree to keep upping your bonus.
Increase your enemy amount.
More enemies means more Goop. Simple maths, really.
More powerful, upgraded slimes.
Again simply but effective. The faster your slimes are taking out the trash, the more Goop you get. Don’t forget to level your key players using food items that you find lying around, this will make them more effective in battle.
