After 1.5 years, Dungeon Clawler has dropped out of Early Access and hit Version 1.0 today. Developed and published by Stray Fawn Studio, the title started as a small side project by one of the co-founders, Micha. The inspiration? Roguelikes and bright neon claw machines in Tokyo arcades.

Dungeon Clawler is available across all major platforms

It’s out on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android. On Steam, it’s $14.99 with a 35% launch discount. The console versions also cost $14.99, but right now they have a 10% launch discount.

On iOS and Android, it’s $6.99 with a 20% launch discount exclusively on Android. The sale is for a limited time, and most of the platforms will have them until May 15th, 2026.

Now, let’s dive into the actual game. Hilarious and clever, Dungeon Clawler has an evil dungeon lord steal your rabbit paw and replace it with a rusty claw. So, you fight your way through the dungeon to get it back.

The game lets you use a claw machine to grab weapons, shields, and items. You then use them to fight your way through a dungeon. You build a deck out of whatever junk or God-tier items you manage to snag.

Dungeon Clawler Version 1.0 adds a lot of new features to the game. A Daily Challenge Mode changes things up every run. New characters include Spinarosa and Captain Coney, while new bosses include elemental Giant Slimes, Mama Creampuff, and Smeltor.

You can unlock 26 unique characters and mess around with 8 different claws that all change how grabbing works. Combine over 120 items with 85 passive perks. Also, there are more than 40 enemies and 17 bosses.

You’ll run into weird allies and even gamble your luck in pachinko machines for rewards. There are four difficulty modes: normal, hard, harder, and nightmare. Take a look at the game below, and see if you want to give it a spin.
