This title doesn’t shy away from associating itself with the word ‘multiple.’ It brings multiple genres together, it lets you play with multiple features like cards, and now it’s landing in multiple platforms. I’m talking about Drop Duchy, whose Complete Edition is coming to PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
It follows earlier releases, including Steam in May 2025 and the Xbox Series X and S version in January 2026. Developed by Sleepy Mill Studio and published by The Arcade Crew, Drop Duchy earned a DICE Awards nomination in 2025.
The Drop Duchy Complete Edition for PS5 and Switch is launching on April 21st, 2026. It bundles in The North and The Tribe DLCs from the start, making it the most comprehensive version so far. Take a look at the latest trailer below.
Drop Duchy Complete Edition brings a mix of deckbuilding, puzzle and rogue-lite to PS5 and Switch
Yep, that’s a lot at once! Drop Duchy takes the usual idea of stacking geometric shapes and flips it into something closer to kingdom management. You build an entire realm piece by piece.
Every block you place could represent forests, rivers, plains, or structures. The goal is to tidy up the board and carefully arrange the pieces so they trigger useful effects and generate resources. Doing so slowly turns your small settlement into something much more formidable.
No two runs play out exactly the same due to its roguelite structure. Each round presents a fresh landscape with lakes, glades, forests, villages, or guilds.
Meanwhile, the deckbuilding system offers over 110 unique cards. Some cards enhance buildings, others introduce new technologies, and many provide modifiers.
Also, there’s a meta progression layer with 100+ missions. They intertwine with three playable factions: The Duchy, The Republic, and The Order. Drop Duchy is available on Steam and Xbox X/S, while it lands on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on April 21st.
