“In Paris, good taste is hard to agree on… most of the time.” Yet another talented actor-director-DP combo making commercials for brands (we also posted about Guiillermo del Toro and Yorgos Lanthimos recently.) The latest unveiling is a new ad campaign for the French beer 1664 Blanc from Kronenbourg – featuring English actor Robert Pattinson confronting other personalities in Paris. “We don’t always agree on good taste. But good taste always agrees on 1664. Just ask our Global Brand Ambassador, Robert Pattinson.” This ad campaign is directed by Brady Corbet and shot by his DP Lol Crawley, the very same duo that won a bunch of Oscars with The Brutalist. It’s a quick 60 second video (and a 30 second version as well) just showing how everyone has different versions of “good taste” except when it comes to drinking this beer. “It was a pleasure to spend a few days making this film for the wonderful team at 1664 with my collaborators Robert Pattinson and Lol Crawley, alongside my excellent team at Magna,” Corbet states. He’s now working on his new cinematic project and Pattinson’s latest film The Drama hits theaters this weekend. Enjoy below. // Continue Reading ›
