Little Crossroads is an upcoming multiplayer life sim. It’s developed and published by indie studio Red Merle Games, and this is their debut title. Coming later this year, the title has just launched its Steam page, so you can wishlist it now.

The game mixes sandbox exploration with skill progression, and you can play it solo or with friends. You build a home, explore peaceful biomes, and spend your time doing things like fishing, mining, bug-catching, woodcutting, and foraging.
It’s a vibrant world that lets you focus on creativity and cooperation. You are free to wander around and develop the skills however you want. The way you play will naturally shape your progress and reward you accordingly.
Rewards include pets that are both cute and helpful, including something called the Grolem. It’s basically a mobile farm, so you can grow things wherever you go. There are also upgrades like Wings, Boats, and super-powered tools, along with cosmetic items.
Each player owns a Little Crossroad, and at the centre of it, there’s a magical signpost that allows travel between the worlds of other players. So, you can team up with others to build, fish, gather resources, and just hang out together in real-time multiplayer.
Chase butterflies through fields or dig for rare gems in the mountains. Little Crossroads looks too cute and charming. The devs often share the process of development as well as art snippets on their socials (Instagram and X/Twitter). You can take a look at them if it interests you.
Little Crossroads is a slow, cosy multiplayer sandbox-style life sim that also has a pinch of mystery. The world raises questions about what the place actually is and who created the magical signposts that connect all the parallel worlds. You can discover those clues and try to unravel the mystery if you want.
