London, UK – A recent survey conducted by the new app SignalTracker has revealed that despite the widespread introduction of 5G technology, many mobile devices in the UK are still predominantly relying on 4G connections. The study, which collected data from all major UK mobile networks, found that 38% of tests conducted while the 5G icon was displayed were actually using a 4G connection.
