Devas of Creation Mounts Guide – How to Unlock New Mounts

Having one of the Devas of Creation Mounts makes travel so much easier. Read on to find out how to unlock the system and how to obtain new mounts!

Devas of Creation Mounts

You’re going to want to get a mount as soon as possible, as the walking speed is pretty slow, and it costs a ton of essence when fast travelling across the map.

How to Unlock Mounts

To unlock the mount system, you must be on the ‘In Pursuit of Glimmershade’ main questline from Miriel in the Fishing Village (you should be around level 18 at this point). There are 26 objectives to complete, so it takes a bit of time!

If you have any pets in your inventory, keep in mind that they cannot be used as a mount until they reach level 10. By equipping a pet to accompany you as you explore, it gradually earns EXP. However, some pets weaken you, such as the Pig that gives you a -30% EXP debuff when active.

How to Obtain Mounts

There are plenty of ways to obtain mounts in Devas of Creation.

Vendors

Some vendors outright sell mounts in their store or they sell Pet Chests, like the Faction Shop! Remember that these chests do not guarantee a specific one, and have a higher chance of dropping another resource such as Essence Tokens instead of a pet/mount.

Completing the Initial Quest

I’ve covered the quest that unlocks the mount system above, but I want to reiterate here that upon completion, you obtain a free mount!

Zorin’s Path of the Rider Quest

Speak to Zorin to complete his Path of the Rider quest to obtain a Treasure Chest – you can do this quest multiple times. 3 mounts in this chest have a chance to drop, including the Horse (3% chance), the Pig (3% chance), and the Shadow Pouncer (3% chance).

Seasonal Pass

Access the Seasonal Pass by opening the menu with ‘M’ and selecting the option underneath the ‘Achievements’ button. This pass gives you a range of rewards when completing each level! These rewards change every season, so the mounts on offer via the standard Seasonal Pass and the Premium one will differ each time.

Robux (Not Recommended)

I’m not a fan of spending Robux to quickly get something in a game. But, if you wish to do so, you can press the M key on your keyboard to open the menu, and select the ‘Store’ tab under the ‘Rewards’ section. Here is where you can see a variety of mounts to purchase, such as:

Starter Ground Mount
Even with a purchased mount, your character must be level 10 to use it
Mammoth Mount Chest
Low chance of dropping
Bonecrusher Mount Chest
Low chance of dropping
Stormscale Mount Chest
Low chance of dropping
