Hexomancy 101 is a new Discovery Quest for Tamala in Palia. It is the first quest for the new Courier Pet and Saddlebag functionality that allows the player to get a free pet. In this guide, we will walk you through the Hexomancy 101 quest in Palia.
How to Complete the Hexomancy 101 Quest in Palia
Starting the Quest
Initiating the Hexomancy 101 quest will require you to investigate an infected object in the Central Stables area. However, the infected object only appears after completing the Something Wicked and Pieces of the Past quests. If you completed these preliminary quests, a quest icon will appear in the northern side of the Central Stables. Go to the quest marker and interact with the object to start the Hexomancy 101 quest.
Asked Tamala about the Cursed Object
Open the map to find Tamala and then go to her. Speak with Tamala about the Cursed Object. Go through the dialogues, and she will tell you to craft any Relic.
Craft any Relic
To craft a Relic, you must first purchase a Relic Schematic from the Relic Shop just outside the Artifact Stations. After acquiring a Schematic, go and speak with Elouisa. It will trigger a respective quest for the Relic, requiring you to gather certain materials. Gather the materials, and then you can start crafting the Relic at the Relic Crafter in the Central Stables.
NOTE: If you have already crafted a Relic, just unequip the Relic from the Accessory slot.
Craft any Relic to Tier II
After crafting any Relic, go back to Tamala, and she will ask you to prove yourself by crafting a Relic to a higher tier. Now, same as before, go to the Relic Shop and purchase the Tier II schematic of any Relic. Bring it to Elouisa to trigger its quest, and then gather the proper materials. Once done, go to the Relic Crafter to craft the Tier II Relic.
NOTE: If you already have a Tier II or higher Relic, you don’t have to craft one. The quest will conclude straightaway the moment you unequip your Relic.
Upon crafting any Tier II Relic, the Hexomancy 101 quest will conclude. Moreover, it will trigger the Nurture of Shadows quest, the second quest for the Courier Pet and Saddlebag functionality.
