The Fallen Fortress is a main story quest for Flynn in Disney Dreamlight Valley: Storybook Vale. This quest is exclusive to the owners of the Storybook Vale expansion. Players will be able to pursue this quest as they gain access to the Fallen Fortress area. This guide will walk you through the Fallen Fortress quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Complete The Fallen Fortress Quest – Walkthrough
Starting the Quest
To initiate The Fallen Fortress quest, you will have to unlock the Fallen Fortress area of the Everafter biome. It is the second/third area of Everafter and requires 5,000 Story Magic to unlock. Go to the entrance of the Fallen Fortress and interact with the Wall of Ink to spend 5,000 Story Magic and unlock the area. Once done, The Fallen Fortress quest will trigger automatically.
Explore the area around the Fallen Fortress
Upon gaining access to the Fallen Fortress area, go to the west side. You will see a lift-up drawbridge leading to a crumbling castle. Remove the wall of ink to the bridge and read the note. The note will tell you to prove yourself to be a Knight.
Speak to Flynn
Now, find Flynn and speak with him about the mysterious fortress and the drawbridge. He will give you a drawing of an Armor. Open the inventory and inspect the drawing. Once done, you will have to gather the materials to craft the armor.
Gather the materials to craft the Fairy Tale Armor
Here are the following materials you need to gather to craft the Fairytale Armor.
5x Iron Ingot: Craft it at the crafting station using Iron Ores and Coal Ores. Moreover, you can purchase it from Kristoff’s Stall for 150 Star Coins each.
3x White Rose: Forage it from the ground in The Wild Woods and The Fallen Fortress areas of the Everafter biome.
2x Opal: Mine the rock nodes in The Bind biome to find it.
2x Star Sapphire: Mine the rock nodes in the Everafter biome to find it.
After gathering all of the materials, go to the crafting station. Navigate to the “Functional Items” tab to find the recipe for Fairytale Armor. Craft the Fairytale Armor and go back to Flynn.
Become a Knight
After speaking with Flynn, you need to do the following two things to become a Knight.
Wear the Fairytale Armor.
Hang out with Flynn (Squire).
Lower the Drawbridge
Now, go back to the drawbridge in the Fallen Fortress area. Interact with the switch to lower the bridge. Continue ahead to see the entrance to a Fairy Tale Trial. Use the Royal Net to turn the switch, and it will activate the trial. The quest concludes as you activate the trial.
Rewards
Completing the Fallen Fortress quest will give you 500 Friendship Points as a reward.
