The Mole has a passive ability when placed in your garden. With this, every 80 seconds, the Mole digs underground to search for treasure. It can dig up either Gear or Sheckles, then puts them in your inventory. When it finds something, you will get a notification on your screen.
Chances of Finding Gear
Many players report that the Mole is more likely to dig Sheckles than Gear, so what exactly are the chances?
From what we know, the chances of it bringing you Gear completely comes down to RNG luck. This isn’t the answer many are likely hoping for, but there has been no talk of the exact % chance of a Mole finding Gear rather than Sheckles.
Although it comes down to RNG luck, having some playtime luck may increase the chances of the Mole finding Gear. Perhaps more luck means better items, such as higher-rarity gear.
How To Get The Mole
You can get a Mole from a Night Egg, which is obtained from the Lunar Glow event for a limited time. Or, you can buy a Night Egg from the Twilight Shop. The Mole only has a 22% hatch chance. You can also purchase a Night Egg with Robux. But I don’t recommend it because it’s expensive.
You may be lucky and find a player who is willing to trade their Mole in exchange for another pet, or a crop that is worth a lot of Sheckles. Ask around in your server or the Discord to see if someone will trade.
