Palworld offers various gear items to be unlocked and equipped to make complete gear for the journey on the island filled with various kinds of Pals. One of the gear items that is included within a complete gear is a Glider. There are several gliders that players will get to unlock as they progress through the game but the initial glider that players can unlock and craft is the Normal Parachute.

How to Unlock Normal Parachute in Palworld
The Normal Parachute is a Glider-type gear item that players can equip from the inventory to glide from the heights without taking any fall damage. Players can unlock and learn the recipe for the Normal Parachute once they reach Level 5 of Technology. To increase the Technology level, forage resources, mine rocks and ores, catch Pals, and complete base missions. Once the players reach Level 5, they can open the Technology tab and use one Technology Point to learn the recipe for Normal Parachute.
Upon learning the recipe, it will be added to the Primitive Workbench from where players can craft it. Interact with the Primitive Workbench to select the recipe for Normal Parachute to craft. Crafting the Normal Parachute will require 10x Wood and 2x Cloth. Wood can be gathered easily by foraging branches from the ground or cutting the trees whereas the cloth can be crafted at the workbench using Wool.
Upon crafting the Normal Parachute, acquire it from the Primitive Workbench to store it in your inventory and then equip it in the Glider slot to use it. Hold the jump button while jumping off a height to open the glider and then use the movement keys to control the glider and land safely.
