The world in Palworld is enriched with both minerals and organic resources that are essential for survival and progress in the game. One of the organic resources that players would have to get from day 1 in the Palworld is Wool as it is used in several crafting recipes like Cloth that will allow them to make Cloth Outfits and a bed that will allow them to sleep to restore HP and pass time.

In this guide, we’ll go over how to get Wool in Palworld.

How to Get Wool in Palworld

Wool can be obtained by a couple of methods in Palworld. The very first and initial method to get Wool is to catch or kill Pals that have Wool as fur and the second and modern method is to put those Pals in a Ranch to produce Wool over time. Initially, all players will have to get their first Wool either by catching or killing a Pal that carries Wool. There are several Pals with Wool as fur that players will get to find and some of the early ones are the following.

Lamball

Cremis

Melpaca

Lamball is the most common Pal with Wool and players will find a plethora of them in the starting region of the game. Catching or killing a Lamball will give 2x Wool and as you hunt or catch more of them, you will start to get a high quantity of Wool in your inventory.

However, hunting the Pals for every time you need Wool might be time-consuming in the late-game as these Pals are only found in certain regions. The best way to make yourself a sustainable source of Wool is by building a Ranch and putting the Pals that carry Wool in it. The Pals will spend some time in the Ranch and start to Graze from time to time which will automatically put Wool on the ground. You just have to go into the Ranch and pick up the Wool.

The Ranch is not a high-level technology as players will get to unlock it in the early levels of technology. Upon reaching the respective technology level, use the Technology Points to unlock the recipe for Ranch and build it at your base using the required materials containing Wood, Stone, and Fiber. After that, you don’t have to ever worry about having any Wool in your inventory or your storage chests.
