“I am the person I am today because of the people that help me… and the people that hurt me.” Vertical has revealed the official trailer for a film titled Lola, marking the feature directorial debut of actress Nicola Peltz Beckham (formerly known just Nicola Peltz – most will recognize her from her role in Transformers: Age of Extinction or on “Bates Motel”). Not to be confused with the other indie sci-fi film titled Lola from last year, this is an entirely different one. Peltz Beckham also stars as the titular Lola James. Lola works to save enough money to get her little brother, Arlo, out of their toxic home. Arlo keeps her hopeful, until one tragic night, when her whole world gets uprooted.
