Getting past the test chambers is essential for progressing in the Portal: Revolution main story. One of the difficult chambers that players will encounter in the very first chapter: The Human Resource is Chamber 8.

How to Solve Chapter 1 Chamber 8 Puzzle in Portal: Revolution
Chamber 8 requires players to direct the laser on the switch as well as the block to power the switch to unlock the exit door. Both the laser and the button to power on the switch are on the higher ground whereas, the block is located on top which can only be reached by elevator. To complete the test chamber 8, follow the following steps.
Upon reaching the test chamber 8, shoot a portal on the Chamber 8 Screen.
Go to the chamber 8 area and shoot the other portal on the wall on the right side to reach the laser area.
Interact with the button to drop down a mirror block.
Look to the opposite side where the laser is pointing and shoot the blue portal on the white wall on the right side.
Grab the mirror block and go through the portal to reach the other side. Now, place the mirror block on the laser to direct the laser into the blue portal to activate the elevator.
Drop down and shoot a blue portal anywhere to disable the elevator and get on the elevator. Shoot the blue portal again on the white wall to let the laser get across and activate the elevator.
As you reach the top, shoot the blue portal on the white wall and take the block with you.
Shoot the blue portal again on the white wall on the side of the red button and take the block to place it on the button.
Now, make your way up to the top floor again by activating the elevator.
Open the blue portal on the white wall to reach the laser area and drop down another mirror block.
Place the mirror block in front of the orange portal to direct the laser to the door switch to open the exit door.
Once you have gone through each step, walk through the orange portal and reach the exit of test chamber 8 to complete the puzzle.
