Ogrepon is the Legendary Pokémon in The Teal Mask DLC of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that players will get to encounter and catch at the end of their playthrough of the DLC. Ogrepon is naturally a Grass Type Pokémon but it can change its form using the Ogrepon Masks that players will collect throughout the progression of the main story of the DLC.

How to Catch Ogrepon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Teal Mask
As mentioned above, players will get to encounter and catch Ogrepon at the end of the main story of the DLC as it is not possible to catch it earlier. While progressing through the storyline of The Teal Mask DLC, players will be required to take down The Loyal Three, three Titanic Pokémon who stole Ogrepon Masks.
Once players have obtained the three Ogrepon Masks, they will unlock the encounter with Ogrepon which takes place at the Oni Mountain. Unlike the usual Pokémon battles, Ogrepon’s fight is unique and it will change its form four times throughout the fight using the Ogrepon Masks.
Upon deleting Ogrepon’s one HP bar, it will change its form and replenish its HP completely. Players must use Pokémon with certain ability types that are weaknesses of the corresponding form of Ogrepon. For better understanding, use the mentioned ability types to defeat all forms of Ogrepon easily.
The Teal Mask (Grass) – Weakness: Fire, Ice, Flying, Poison, and Bug.
The Hearthflame Mask (Fire) – Weakness: Water, Ground, and Rock.
The Wellspring Mask (Water) – Weakness: Grass and Electric.
The Cornerstone Mask (Rock) – Weakness: Water, Grass, Ground, Fighting, and Steel.
After defeating all four forms of Pgrepon, use any kind of Poke Ball to secure the catch of Ogrepon. It does not matter if you use Quick Ball, Great Ball, or regular Poke Ball, the Ogrepon will be caught at the end of the fight.
Having Ogrepon at your side can help you greatly in Tera Raids or other events for defeating high level Pokémon due to capability of changeable forms and access to various abilities.
