Subterra Ability Cards Guide – Rarity, Buffs, and Card Limit

To help in your gameplay, you’ll need one of the Subterra Ability Cards. When used, they give you unique abilities or buffs. We’ve gone through each one and included their rarity, what they give you, and the card limit.

Subterra Ability Cards Guide

You can get Ability Cards through Card Summoning. One summon costs 140 Chrono Shards. To get these shards, you can complete daily quests and achievements, open chests, or mining Chrosoium Ore. The Card Summoning area is located to the left of where you spawn. There are multi-coloured crystals surrounding it, with the Martin NPC standing outside.

Common

Magnet
Increases the range you pick up items in by 0.5 studs.Card Limit: 5
Pouch
Backpack space increases by 3%.Card Limit: 5Passive
Walk Speed
Your walk speed grows by 2 studs. If you have already selected this before, it will stack.Card Limit: 8
Radiant
Emit a slight glow from your body.Card Limit: 1

Uncommon

Jump Power
Gain 2.5 jump power. This can stack, meaning the power will increase if you have already selected this ability.Card Limit: 10
Healthy
Gain 10 HP.Card Limit: 10
Extra Oxygen
You will obtain an additional 25ml of oxygen. Talk about a breath of fresh air!Card Limit: 10
Lighter Pickaxe
Your pickaxe speed increases by 5%.Card Limit: 10
Stronger Pickaxe
The power of your pickaxe increases by 6%.Card Limit: Unknown

Rare

Bigger Backpack
Backpack space increases by 15%.PassiveCard Limit: 5
Lucky
There is a 5% chance for you to double the amount of ores you get when mining an ore.Card Limit: Unknown
Double Jump
You will gain an additional jump boost. This can stack!Card Limit: Unknown

Legendary

Explosive Touch
You have a 10% chance to cause a small explosion when you strike an ore. Don’t worry, this won’t damage you.Card Limit: 2
Blazing Pickaxe
There is a 10% chance to auto-smelt ores you mine.Card Limit: 2
Larger Furnace 
Obtain an additional furnace slot for free.PassiveCard Limit: 2
