Dire Bear Location

To the Northeast of Wayshire, you can find the Wilderness. Within the Wilderness, you enter the Pinewood Thickets, which also has a cave. The Dire Bear resides in this cave!

Well, it first spawns inside the cave and then wanders out. If nobody attacks it while it stands outside, it despawns. With the Dire Bear being a boss, it attacks both players and NPCs, including other creatures.

How to Beat the Dire Bear

Due to its heavy attacks, the best way to beat the Dire Bear is by evading it as much as possible. It relies on slamming into players and charging into them, which you can dodge if you pay close enough attention.

A lot of its attacks are not blockable, but they are parryable. Practicing how to parry against oncoming attacks is a good strategy to get you used to it!
