The Kingdom of Bohemia is big and filled with numerous valleys, meadows, towns, villages, and cities. As the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 takes place in Bohemia, it offers two main regions including Trosky and Kuttenberg. Both of these regions are big and contains numerous locations throughout them. Exploring each region on foot or on a horse back can take hours and hours. However, getting from one known place to another can be done in a short time via fast traveling. In this guide, we will tell you how to fast travel in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
How to Fast Travel in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Fast traveling can be done between the known locations in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. As you explore the world of Bohemia in KCD2, you will discover the major locations including towns and villages. Discovering the major locations will unlock the fast travel points in those locations. The fast travel point is shown as a blue icon on the map.
After unlocking any fast travel point, you can fast travel to it from anywhere, except indoors. Simply open the map and press LMB (PC) on the point or X (PS5). It will open a small window asking for confirmation to move to the selected location. Press accept and Henry will begin his travel to that location. You will see an overview of the journey like a board game. However, keep in mind that the major stats like Nourishment and Energy will reduce even in the fast travel.
Sometimes while fast traveling, Henry will encounter different events. Like being stopped by bandits, seeing a helpless beggar, finding an abandoned camp where he can rest and cook food, and more. As such events pop up, Henry will stop at that point, and you will get the option to either continue to the fast travel location or stop. If you are being stopped by enemies, then you will get the option to either flee or stop. Some situations have a high chance of successfully fleeing while some do not. So, if you fail the flee chance, unfortunately, you are going to have to fight the enemies or run them on your own.
Things to Keep in Mind for Fast Traveling in KCD2
Although fast traveling is easy and simple in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, there are certain points when fast traveling cannot be done. If Henry is carrying over the weight limit or he is being poisoned, you will not be able to fast travel. You must first get rid of the unnecessary items to get under the weight-carrying capacity or get rid of the poison to pursue fast travel. Additionally, during the quests, while you are in a certain location where you are trapped or have to rescue someone, you cannot do fast travel.
