Food Poisoning is one of the debuff stats that your character can get by eating a spoiled or not-so-fresh food item. All of the food items in the game have a certain amount of time until they get spoiled. You can see the freshness of food items in the inventory and if there is any food item with Red Freshness, it is best to drop it. If you get food poisoning, Henry will not be able to sprint properly and even fast-travel. Moreover, Henry’s health will gradually decrease and it can be deadly if not cured urgently.

There are two ways that you can cure Food Poisoning in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Sleeping
Drinking Digestive Potion
The Sleeping method is not efficient but it can cure food poisoning. However, sleeping while affected by Food Poisoning will still decrease Henry’s health instead of regenerating. Henry must have enough health to survive until the effect wears off. Otherwise, Henry will die even in the sleep.
Now, the main and the most efficient method to cure Food Poisoning is consuming a Digestive Potion. Consuming a Digestive Potion decreases Nourishment by 20, cures food poisoning, and increases Vitality by 1 for 10 minutes. So, overall using the Digestive Potion will let you survive without food for a bit longer and cure food poisoning as well.
How to Get Digestive Potion in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
There are two different ways that you can get the Digestive Potion in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. You can either purchase it from the Apothecary traders or brew it yourself at the Alchemy station. For brewing the digestive potion, you will have to get its recipe first. Luckily, you can get the recipe for free if you make progress until you reach the Trosky Castle in the main storyline.
Brewing the digestive potion requires the following ingredients.
1x Nettle
2x Thistle
1x Charcoal
After getting these ingredients, head to any Alchemy station and do the following steps to brew a Digestive Potion.
Add the water to the cauldron.
Add the Thistle to the cauldron and boil for 2 turns.
Grind the nettle and add it to the cauldron.
Boil for 1 turn.
Grind the charcoal and add it to the cauldron.
Finally, pour the Potion into a phial.
It is best that you keep at least 2 Digestive Potions at all times in your inventory. So, whenever you get food poisoning, you will be able to cure it straight away rather than looking for a trader to purchase one or an Alchemy station to craft one.
