Fisch Seasons – In-game Clock and Seasonal Fishing Benefits!

Tis’ the season… Kind of. This Fisch Seasons guide tells you the frequency of the in-game seasonal changes and how that impacts the crafted Seasonal Rod.

Fisch Seasons Guide

Whilst all servers, private or public tend to have feint differences, one thing keeps them all connected, the internal seasonal clock. Servers experience unique night/day cycles, weather and in-game events, however, each server you visit will have the same season. Naturally, the in-game seasons don’t run on a real-world clock and for good reason. Each in-game season lasts for approximately 9 hours and 30 minutes.

Of all fish preferences, the Seasons last the longest. Unlike weather and time, Seasons have no totem and likely never will. If you’re hunting for certain catches you’ll need to calculate when to log in based on the current season and when it’s due to change. Seasonal Rod

To help with seasonal fish, you should consider crafting the Seasonal Rod inside the Ancient Archives. It has lacklustre stats but has versatile abilities depending on the season which uplifts its mediocracy. To craft it, you must meet the following requirements:

And in return, you gain the base stats:

Lure Speed: 20%Luck Boost: 35%Control: 0.3Resilience: 10%Max KG: 4,000

The Seasons Rod splits its passives across two conditions. The first is a 20% chance to apply the Seasonal Mutation to caught fish, which increases their value by different amounts depending on the Season when the fish was captured. Winter Seasonal Mutation increases the selling price by x2.5. Summer Seasonal Mutation increases fish weight by +25%. Finally, the Spring Seasonal Mutation increases the selling price by x3.

It’s other passive is far simpler, increasing seasonal fish encounter odds by 20% when it’s their preferred season. This makes fishing for high-rarity fish a tad easier. Just make sure you enchant the rod first as it’ll struggle to reel them in during the catch mini-game otherwise…
