NIS America has announced Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero, a sequel to the beloved PS2 game, is getting a free demo. It will be available for PS4 and PS5 tomorrow, January 17.

The news was revealed on the official NIS America X account. Alongside its available platforms, the tweet also confirms Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero demo save data can transfer to the full version of the game, giving players a head start in the new adventure.

“Set sail to save the day in this colorful strategy RPG! Join Marona — a gifted young girl with the power to speak to Phantoms — as she traverses the ocean world of Ivoire, providing aid to those in need,” reads the game’s description. “When a fleet of ghost ships attack, it’s up to Marona and her new friend Apricot to assemble the legendary crew that once defeated these spectral foes.”

“Recruit Phantoms, bind them to objects, combine them with Gadgets, and even merge them with Marona herself to unleash show-stopping abilities and sink the Shipwreck Fleet,” continues the description.

There are two editions of Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero on the PS Store. The standard edition is $59.99 and just includes the base game. The Digital Deluxe Edition is $109.99 and includes the base game and a slew of goodies for players to enjoy. Here is the list of extras:
