There are a lot of Legendary Weapons to choose from while building up your main Guardian character to take down the enemies in a fury but it can be difficult to choose which one gets the job done as the weapon type is dependent on playstyle. If you are someone who likes to take out targets from a distance but likes high mobility, then Malediction is the perfect weapon for you.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get Malediction in Destiny 2.
How to Get Malediction in Destiny 2
Malediction is a Legendary Hand Canon in Destiny 2 built for long-range encounters. To get Malediction in Destiny 2, you need to increase your rank with Zavala, Shaxx, or the Drifter in the Tower. You can increase your rank with these NPCs by participating in their activities. They reward you with Malediction once you reach Rank 16, which is the highest rank for that activity.
Each of these NPCs manages a different activity, Vanguard, Crucible, or Gambit. To reach the highest rank and get Malediction, just play a lot in these activities. If you want to speed things up, focus on the one you’re good at to win more and rank up faster. The PVE players can focus on completing the Vanguard or Gambit activity to get their hands on Malediction, and the PVP players need to participate in the Crucible activity to rank up with Shaxx.
If you happen to miss Malediction during the Season of the Witch (Current Season), you will not be able to get Malediction by ranking up with the NPCs instead, you will be able to get it from the Exotic Kiosk at the Tower.
